I came online to check submissions and my inbox, this evening, and was surprised to find a note. Notes, for me, are extremely rare -- I hoped to find something fun and interesting, but lo, there was no such thing. It was a relocation notice.

It seems that some admin was browsing through my gallery and found a submission that was, in their eyes, out of place. What authority any person other than I has to move a piece that I made and only I know the thought process behind is completely beyond me. What's more, not only did they decide that my picture was in the wrong place, but they didn't have a better suggestion, so they just moved it to scraps.

Does that sound okay to you? Does it?

Let me give you a hint: no.

Folks, this is my work. It's nice that there is a site that will host people's art for free, but fucking with it in any way is a pretty serious deal breaker. It's disrespectful.

If, by chance, there is an admin reading this, please don't mess with my gallery. If you feel the urge to, just leave me a comment or note that says you think I messed up in categorizing my piece. I'll be more than happy to listen, if you have an argument. If you don't, don't bother. I'm a thinking person too, and it's my work. If you can't respect that, then either get over yourself or kick me off of DA.
